No More Blues- I played with Steve Rainman Rainey in the Real Deal Band and in an acoustic trio. He asked me to come up with a few tunes for Real Deal. I envisioned Fred Browne and Rogers Randle doing the horn parts, Fred the vocals and trumpet, and Rogers the sax solo. I demoed it at 5 minutes and explained how it could be shortened but Steve took a pass. I'm on double drop D Strat for slide thru a Line 6 tube amp and Keeley compressor, organ, bass, drum machine, and synth horn parts. Jim Conway and probably 20 people serenaded me with this tune at a UPT Irish jam session 3 weeks before I had the surgery that took my voice. I cried like a baby. Musicians are the BEST people on earth. Just don't lend them money.
